David A neighbor of thirteen-year-old Larry shrunk. Seeing Larry now as tall as a building, David tries to get his attention. Larry is with a pal of his. They slowly box him in. David waves a piece of cloth he found to get their attention. “They must see me. Why don’t they say anything to me?” questions David to himself. David begins to hear deep thundering voices coming down from upon high. From what he can gather they are in a discussion about who should keep him. “So, you do see me!!” hallowers David. They look down at him and look back up at each other with a smirk. David is becoming rather indignant that they seem not to be paying him any mind. Like whatever he says doesn’t matter.
David hears Larry’s pal say, “We can take turns in having him.”
“Yeah, good idea.”
And the huge, small island that is Larry’s hand comes down toward David.
